Privacy Policy
Privacy at a glance
Purrna does not require an account and does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data. There are no ads, analytics, tracking technologies, or backend accounts.
Information stored on your device
Practice history, settings, progress, unlocked companion cosmetics, and custom breathing patterns are stored locally on your device. This information is used only to provide the app’s features and is not sent to Purrna or to third parties.
System features
Purrna can schedule local notifications so a user-started practice or breathing timer can finish reliably. On Android, exact-alarm access may be requested for precise timer completion. Purrna can also play user-started ambient audio in the background and show a timer status on the lock screen or, where supported, as an iOS Live Activity.
Notification and exact-alarm permissions are controlled in your device settings. Purrna does not use these permissions for advertising, profiling, or remote messages.
Retention and deletion
Because app data stays on-device, it remains there until you clear Purrna’s app data or uninstall the app. Device backups may retain a copy according to your Apple or Google backup settings and policies.
Health disclaimer
Purrna is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Consult a healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Contact and changes
Privacy questions can be sent to purrna@googlegroups.com.
If this policy changes, the effective date at the top of this page will be updated. Any material change will be described in the app or its store listing.
